2020 Awards Judges

Lynn D. Pratt

Lynn D. Pratt is a professional artist and signature member in the American Watercolor Society, Vermont and North East Watercolor Societies.
Lynn paints in a photorealistic style which she adopted from her background in architecture and her love for detail and perfectionist nature shows in her paintings.
She is an award winning artist, demonstrator, juror and watercolor instructor and showcases her work in solo shows, international exhibitions and galleries. She has been featured on television and print including Splash, Artscope and The Artists Magazine.
Lynn loves teaching watercolor and finds inspiration from sharing her fondness of the medium with others.

Lana Privitera

  Lana Privitera graduated from the Fine Arts School of Zaragoza, Spain, with majors in Fashion Design and Art History. After working in Advertising for a few years, she moved to the USA in the early 1990s.
Her watercolors have been featured in several publications and have received numerous awards in Local, National and International competitions.
Mrs. Privitera is currently a Signature Member of the National Watercolor Society, the North East Watercolor Society and the Philadelphia Watercolor Society, among others.
Mrs. Privitera has been an art instructor for over 15 years and offers now workshops and Demos in the USA and worldwide.

Linda Kemp

Linda Kemp is internationally recognized for her unique, contemporary watercolours and acrylics. Her innovative use of negative painting is the focus of her two best-selling books, Watercolour Painting Outside the Lines and Simplifying Design and Colour For Artists.
She is an elected member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour (CSPWC), the Ontario Society of Artists and the Society of Canadian Artists. Her award-winning paintings are in collections around the world, including The Royal Collection at Windsor Castle. She is the recipient of the Woman of Distinction Award for Arts and Culture and the A.J. Casson Medal for Outstanding Achievement in Water Colour, the top award for the CSPWC National Exhibition. Linda instructs at symposiums and workshops throughout Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and France. She has served as juror for numerous national and international exhibitions.

Chris Krupinski

Chris is a Dolphin Fellow of the American Watercolor Society, signature member of the National Watercolor Society, Rocky Mountain Watercolor Society, Transparent
Watercolor Society of America (Master Status), Watercolor West-Master, and Allied
Artists, to name a few. She is the recipient of over 200 national and regional awards.
Chris has been published in major watercolor publications and has been a featured artist in numerous leading national art magazines.
Internationally, Chris was selected as one of the “master painters” for the Invitational
Exhibition of Contemporary International Watermedia Masters, November 2007, 2010,
and 2012 in Nanjing, China. Chris was also selected for the Shanghai Zhujiajiao
International Watercolour Biennial Exhibition in 2012 as well as many others.

Diana Toma

Diana Toma is the president of the International Watercolor Society USA branch and the demonstration chair for Georgia Watercolor Society. Holding a Master’s Degree in Fine Art, Diana has been engaging with the art community since 1995 showcasing her work in over a hundred exhibitions. Diana is often invited to judge & jury art shows and to speak on behalf of the working artist on open panels. Winning an array of awards on an international, national and local level, her artworks have been showcased in magazines, billboards, and acquired by her city of residence for display in public spaces. 

Jean Pederson

Jean Pederson is an accomplished and innovative artist, author and educator working in watercolor, acrylic and mixed media. Layering her mediums has been a foundation to her painting process. Jeans subjects may vary, the core of each painting begins with an idea that is then interpreted through layers of paint, collage and mark making. Her work has been featured in many periodicals and authored two instructional books. Jean has also contributed to several of the Splash series and other books, and contributed as a guest blogger for the Artist Network. Ms. Pederson has received numerous awards nationally and internationally, her work is included in the Royal Collection in Windsor, England and the International Watercolor Museum in Fabriano, Italy.  The Queens Diamond Jubilee Medal from the Canada Council of the Arts.
